Initial submission
This article is the result of research in the field of information technology and data analysis. The article must be written in English and Indonesian. The initial manuscript must be neat and complete, but does not necessarily meet all TIFDA specifications. However, there are 4 requirements:
a) A disguised title page that only contains the title of the manuscript without the author's name.
b) Numbered pages and lines (in Words > Page Setup > Line Numbers > Continuous) throughout the text of the manuscript.
c) The article is written using Microsoft Word, with Times New Roman font and size 10, spacing 1, left margin 3.5 cm, top 3 cm, right and bottom 2 cm. Formulas and equations are written using Microsoft Equation. A4 paper size, in one column.
d) A cover letter with a concise text (maximum 150-200 words) that addresses the following three topics:
(1) A description of what the paper adds to the current state of knowledge, particularly with respect to previously published material in the Journal, and whether there have been systematic reviews of the topic.
(2) The importance of the paper to information technology and information systems.
(3) A single sentence summarizing the main message of the paper, which can be used to disseminate the paper on social media.
Manuscripts that are of low priority or low quality will be rejected immediately. Manuscripts that are retained for review for possible publication in the Journal will be submitted for technical review. Authors will be notified immediately if their manuscript needs to be reformatted and will be given 7 days to make any changes.

Manuscript Components
Research articles consist of Title, author's name, abstract in English, keywords, introduction, methods, results and discussion, closing (conclusions and recommendations), and bibliography.
Review articles consist of Title, author's name, abstract in English, keywords, introduction, content, closing, and bibliography.
Writing Guide
Title
- The title is written in Indonesian and is informative, concise, not too long or short (5-12 words) with Times New Roman font, size 11 pt Bold, spacing 1.
- Contains the variables studied and describes the contents of the manuscript.
- The title should not contain abbreviations or formulas.
- The title page only contains the title of the manuscript. The author's name must be removed to ensure there is no double blinding during peer review.
Abstract and Keyword
- The abstract is written concisely, regarding the most important ideas and contains the problem or research objectives, research methods, and research results.
- Written in Indonesian and English (PREFERRED) with a maximum word count of 150-200 words.
If the article is written in Indonesian, the abstract must be written in Indonesian and English properly and correctly. If the article is written in English, the abstract must be written in English only.
- The abstract for each language may only be written in 1 paragraph with a 1-column format.
Keywords contain main words consisting of 3-5 words.
Introduction
The introduction is presented in an integrated manner without subtitles. Written in paragraph form with a length of 15-20% of the length of the article, and contains:
- Background or basis of research
- Theoretical basis (brief literature review)
- Research objectives
Methods
The method is written with a length of 15-20% of the article length and contains:
- Research design
- Data collection techniques and data sources
- Data analysis methods
Result and Discussion
The results and discussion are presented at a length of 60-70% of the length of the article. The results are the main part of a scientific article that contains:
- Data analysis results
- Hypothesis test results
- Can be presented in tables or graphs to clarify the results verbally
- Discussion is an important part of the entire scientific article. The purpose of the discussion is: to answer research problems, interpret findings, integrate research findings into existing knowledge, and formulate new theories or modify existing theories.
- The serial numbers used are numbers (1), (2), (3), and so on, no need to use composite numbers.
- Hyphens must not change the serial number.
Conclusion
- Contains conclusions and recommendations.
- The conclusion contains answers to research questions.
- Recommendations refer to research results and forms of practical action, mentioning to whom and for what the recommendations are intended.
- Written in essay form, not in numerical form.
Bibliography
- Contains references referred to in the content, arranged alphabetically, and written in the IEEE system.
- Written in full, in accordance with references in the content
- Only contains references referred to in the content
- Reference sources 80% of the references published in the last 5 years.
- References at least 80% of research articles in journals or research reports.
- Articles must refer to articles published in TIFDA journals.
- The bibliography format is IEEE
